Own Miles is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The points below add to it.
Not tax advice
Own Miles helps you keep a mileage log and adds it up at the IRS standard mileage rates. It isn't tax, legal or accounting advice. Whether a drive is deductible, and how to claim it, depends on your situation. Check your return with a tax professional. You're responsible for the accuracy of your log, including the purpose of each trip.
Accuracy
Drives are measured with your iPhone's location, which can miss or misjudge part of a trip, for example in tunnels or with poor signal. Review your trips and fix any that look wrong; edits are kept in each trip's history.
Own Miles Pro
- Pro is sold through the App Store as a yearly or monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. A free trial, where offered, turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
- The price you start at is the price you keep: we won't raise the price of an active subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Pro can be shared with your Family Sharing group.
